Our Services

Deep in the heart of Oak Cliff, The High Lonesome Lounge was started out of love for friends, family, and community. We are a classic barber shop located in a historic 1920's building just a few doors down from the Kessler Theater. The barber shop is truly one of a kind as everything in the shop was carefully curated with the patrons in mind. Our goal is to welcome everyone into the shop with open arms and treat them the same no matter who they are, or where they come from.

Elliot Flint

Elliot Flint is from and currently lives in Dallas, Texas. He is the owner and head barber at The High Lonesome Lounge in Oak Cliff. He has been a barber now for 10 years. Elliot started his barber career by cutting buddies, drinking beer, and playing music in his garage. It quickly became a regular thing to have 10-20 people at a time waiting for a cut. At 20 years old he quit his job and moved to Oak Cliff where he went to barber school. after graduating Elliot worked around Dallas and won awards at some of the best shops in town. He is now proud to be a Reuzel Scumbassador teaching classic barbering across the country. Outside of the business he is a father and a husband. Elliot and his family spend a lot of our time outside either raising a garden or camping on the weekends. He has many hobbies including backpacking, cooking, and fixing classic cars/motorcycles. Elliot currently drives a 1959 Harley Davidson Panhead chopper as well as two 1977 Boogie Vans. He is proud to have started a family and a business by 30 years old and looks forward to continued growth in the years to come.

Britta Hudson

Britta Hudson is from California and currently lives in Waxahachie. She has been in the hair industry for almost 18 years. She was one of the first to join The High Lonesome team on September 7, 2022. Outside of work she enjoys meditating, camping, and baking. Britta loves the Dallas Arboretum and spending time outdoors. She is a sweet person who is very empathetic.

Morgan Baker

Morgan Baker has been a barber for 10 years and has been cutting in Oak Cliff for 8 phenomenal years! She lives in the suburbs of Fort Worth with her two kiddos. Morgan spends a lot of her free time doing things with her family. She loves thrifting and anything home/DIY related. She's been at The High Lonesome Lounge since April of 2022. She has had an amazing experience of learning, growing and meeting the community surrounding our shop.

Austin Brody

Austin Brody is Originally from Oklahoma an currently lives in Oak Cliff. He has been cutting hair for 9 years and joined the High Lonesome in 2024. He is a great educator and teaches hair all over the country. Outside of the shop he's big into sports, fitness, and underground music. He also has many outdoor hobbies such as hiking and camping. Austin is a great guy and takes the best care of his patrons.

Jared Kraft

Jared is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He has been a barber now for over 3 years specialixing in precision haircuts and beard styling. He is a bit of a perfectionist and loves to make you feel and look you best.

Outside of the shop Jared spends most of his free time with his wife Emily. they love to spend their time outdoors camping, fly fishing, and exploring new places. He loves to rock climb regularly and snowboard when he gets the chance. Jerad looks forward to seeing you in the shop!
